This Aadhaar contains demographic and biometric information of the cardholder and this card is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI. People whose Aadhaar cards are 10 years old have to get their Aadhaar cards updated. For this, information has already been given by the department and now its last date is 14 September 2024. So if you want to update your Aadhaar for free, then get it done today.

This is how you can update your Aadhaar card:-
Step 1

To update your 10-year-old Aadhaar, first of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI uidai.gov.in/en
Then you have to click on the option of 'Update Aadhaar' here
After this, fill your 12 digit Aadhaar number here


Step 2
Then an OTP will come on your registered (mobile number linked to Aadhaar number) mobile number.
You have to fill in this OTP here and log in.
After this, click on the document update option go to the drop list, and update the scanned copy of the identity card and address proof here.


Step 3
Then you have to click on submit and as soon as you do this, your form will be submitted.
In this way, you will then get a request number.
You have to keep this received number safe because you will be able to check your status with it whether your Aadhaar card has been updated or not.
