Despite so many benefits, we should eat cauliflower only in limited quantities because it also has disadvantages.
Disadvantages of eating too much cauliflower
1. Stomach problems
Cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower contain a special type of sugar, named Raffinose, which does not break down easily. The bacteria present in the large intestine ferment it, which can cause gas, constipation, and flatulence. That's why you should eat cauliflower only in limited quantities.
2. Hypothyroidism
The thyroid gland helps in many important functions of our body, if this gland releases fewer hormones then this condition is called hypothyroidism. If cauliflower is eaten in large quantities, it puts a lot of pressure on the thyroid gland. Therefore, take advice from a dietician.
3. Allergy
Many people get allergic after eating cauliflower. This includes skin itching, swelling, and difficulty in breathing. If you see any such symptoms, get treatment immediately.
4. Lack of appetite
Cauliflower is found to be low in carbohydrates and fat, however, it is also rich in fiber which keeps you from feeling hungry for a long time and you can lose weight through it, if you adopt this method then your appetite may be reduced. Let it reduce.
