If you are also troubled by the expensive recharge plans and want to port your existing SIM card to BSNL, then this news is for you. In this report, we will tell you how to port Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea SIM to BSNL. Let's know....
How to port your existing number to BSNL?
A Unique Porting Code (UPC) is required to port any number. For this code, write PORT in the message and after giving a space, type your 10-digit mobile number and send the message to 1900.
After this, you will get UPC. If you are a user of Jammu and Kashmir circles, then you have to call 1900. After that, you will get this code. The validity of UPC is up to 15 days, that is, within 15 days of getting the code, you have to complete the work of porting the number, although for Jammu and Kashmir circles its validity is 30 days.
After getting the code, you have to go to any SIM card shop or BSNL customer service center. After going there, you will be asked for a photo, Aadhar card, and alternate mobile number. After that, you will get a new SIM card for BSNL. You may have to pay some money as a porting fee. After this, a message will come to your number in which the date of porting will be written. On that date, your old SIM will be closed and the new SIM will be activated.
