The relationship between brother and sister is one of the sweetest relationships in the world. There is love, affection, and friendship between brother and sister. Brothers and sisters who used to fight in childhood become each other's biggest supporters when they grow up. However, after the marriage of brothers and sisters, some changes start taking place in their relationship. The distance between siblings, who used to be friends in childhood, starts increasing after the arrival of their spouse in their life. Many times, rifts arise and in some cases, brothers and sisters do not even like to talk to each other after a few years of marriage.

The question is why does the relationship between brothers and sisters, who are like friends and are each other's biggest support system in the family, become distant after marriage? There are mainly five reasons for this. Let us know about those reasons so that brothers and sisters can save their relationship from deteriorating in time.

Partner's resentment
After marriage, a new member is added to the family. When the brother gets married, the sister-in-law comes home and when the sister gets married, the brother-in-law comes. To maintain the same love in the family as before, your closeness with your brother or sister's spouse is important. For example, if you don't have as much love for your sister-in-law as you do for your brother, or because of your sister-in-law's displeasure with her sister-in-law, the relationship between brother and sister also starts getting sour. Similarly, when a brother has a conflict with his sister's husband, the relationship between the brother and sister starts deteriorating and distance comes between them.

Ignore each other
After marriage, the priorities of the boy or girl change. He starts spending more time with his spouse and expresses his love, but in all this, he starts ignoring his old relationships especially his brother or sister. A married brother does not give time to his sister or the sister reduces communication with the brother after marriage, this also increases the distance between them.

Interference in married life
When people start interfering excessively in the married life of a brother or sister, then the possibility of dispute between them increases. There are many reasons like scolding a married brother for being too advocating for his sister-in-law or instigating the sister against her in-laws, which spoil the relationship between them.

Not to communicate
The amount of time that brothers and sisters give to each other before marriage, they are unable to give that much time after marriage. Due to changing priorities and being busy in their married life, brothers and sisters are not able to talk to each other much. Due to less communication, the distance between them increases. Brothers and sisters, who used to talk openly to each other on every issue, start feeling hesitant whenever they talk after marriage because they do not talk much. Love and affection remain through conversation. At the same time, a lack of communication increases misunderstanding and spoils the relationship.

Pretend
After marriage, brother and sister start living in separate houses. The brother forms a separate family with his wife and children. Similarly, the sister also lives with her family in her in-laws' house. There may be a difference in their social statuses. Those who complain to their parents before marriage that they have given her more than me, convert this feeling into jealousy after marriage. After marriage, they start showing off about their family or home, which becomes the cause of distance between them.
