Nowadays brides are trying to explore new options and trends in the designs of their wedding outfits. Bridal lehengas ranging from embellished to elegant pastel designs were included in this year's wedding fashion. Along with this, many mirror-work lehengas were also liked by the brides. Keeping this trend in mind, well-known fashion designer Arshi Singhal of the fashion industry has shared the latest trends of this year. Let us know which trends were seen in bridal lehenga this year.

Seasonal trends
Every season has its pattern. In the spring season, people prefer pastel tones and shimmer work for their evening outfits. People are preferring Resham work dresses with minimal jewellery for their daily wear. This year we have seen more teal blue and royal purple colours for autumn and winter but this one is not very flashy. People are very fond of hand needlework in opaque tones. It includes dresses in light tones of mint green, sea green, baby pink and baby blue.

Fabric preference
Organza is a fashionable fabric right now. It has shining sheer, giving a combination of traditional and Indian aesthetics. Organza was followed by imported cloth material. This year's net outfits were the least liked.

This trend was highlighted
Fashion designer Arshi Singhal explains that the trend of the season has been highlighted with bold shoulders. When it comes to western wear gowns, ethnic gowns and lehenga necklines, bold shoulders are the highlight. They say that it remained in trend throughout the year. Chikankari's work is also very much liked.

Embroidery
Apart from this, embroidered lehengas were also preferred by the brides. This trend is expected to prevail not only in the year 2022 but in the next year as well. The Indian ethnicity of the 80s is now slowly becoming a fashion trend. In such a situation, a lot of Dori, gota and even mirror work is done in machine embroidery. However, its colour tones have changed a lot.
