Onion Dosa Recipe: If you also want to make flavored onion dosa at home, you can prepare it in a very easy way. If guests have come home, they can also be served onion dosa for breakfast. Let's know the method of making it.
Ingredients for making onion dosa
Semolina (rava) - 1 cup
Finely chopped onions - 3
Ginger chopped - 1/2 piece
Rice flour - 1 cup
Roasted cashew - 3 tsp
Green chili chopped - 3
Cumin - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
salt - as per taste

To make onion rava dosa, first mix semolina, and rice flour in a deep-bottomed utensil. After this add a little water to the mixture and mix it. Then mix asafoetida, cumin, and salt as per taste and cover the utensil and keep it in a warm place for 2-3 hours. Meanwhile, cut the onion into fine pieces. Then cut green chilies, ginger and cashew nuts into pieces.
After the fixed time, take the paste of the mixture and add all the chopped things except onion and mix it well. Then add water little by little and prepare a thin batter. After this take a nonstick pan/griddle and heat it on medium flame. When the griddle gets hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around. Now take the dosa mixture in a bowl and put it in the center of the griddle and make the dosa by spreading it in a round shape.
After roasting the dosa for some time, put finely chopped onions and green chilies on it. Then with the help of a spoon press the onion lightly on the dosa and roast it for 2-3 minutes. After this, put a little oil on the edges and sauté. Flip the dosa after some time. Bake the dosa till it turns golden. Then fold it and take it off on a plate. Similarly, prepare all the onion dosas. Tasty and healthy Onion Dosa is ready to serve for breakfast.
