Here's a simple and tasty recipe for Masala Paratha that you can enjoy for breakfast:

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 cup finely chopped onions

1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

2 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon ginger paste

1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala

Salt to taste

Water, as needed

Ghee or oil for cooking the parathas

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth and soft dough. Set the dough aside and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine the chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger paste, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to form a masala filling.

Divide the dough into small lemon-sized balls. Take one dough ball and roll it into a small circle using a rolling pin.

Place a spoonful of the masala filling in the center of the rolled dough circle. Gather the edges of the dough and seal the filling by bringing them together. Pinch off any excess dough.

Flatten the stuffed dough ball slightly and dust it with some flour. Roll it out gently into a circular paratha, about 6-7 inches in diameter. Take care not to apply too much pressure while rolling, as it may cause the filling to come out.

Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa and cook for about a minute until small bubbles start to appear.

Flip the paratha and apply ghee or oil on the cooked side. Cook for another minute, pressing gently with a spatula, until brown spots appear.

Flip the paratha again, apply ghee or oil on the other side, and cook until it turns golden brown and crispy.

Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls and masala filling to make more parathas.

Serve the Masala Parathas hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney of your choice.
