Rice flour - half cup
Semolina - 4 tbsp
Curd - 1/3 cup
Water - 3/4-1 cup
Green chili and ginger - 1 tbsp crushed
Carrot - 1/2 cup grated
Green peas - 1/4 cup crushed
Green coriander leaves - 1 tbsp finely chopped
salt - to taste
Baking soda - 3/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - for tempering
How to make Steamed Rice Snacks
Add rice flour, semolina, curd, and water in a bowl and mix well. Now put crushed ginger and green chilies in it. Then add grated carrot and crushed green peas and mix it. Now add salt, coriander leaves, and baking soda and mix well. You can also leave it covered for some time so that it becomes soft. Now put a little oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and cumin seeds, fry them and temper them in the mixture.
Pour this mixture into a steel plate or bowl and spread it well. Now pour water into a utensil and place the plate containing the mixture and cover it. Cook it until it gets completely set and cooked. After cooking, if it starts to become soft and spongy, then turn off the gas. Cut it into small pieces and enjoy eating it with green or red chutney.
