Ingredients for making Bread Pakora
Bread Slices
Boiled Potatoes
Gram Flour- 1 Cup
Finely Chopped Green Chillies
Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
A Little Oil
Spices
Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
Cumin Powder: 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder: 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder: 1/4 tsp
Salt: According to taste
Baking Soda: 1/4 tsp
Method
To make Bread Pakora, first of all, you have to prepare its stuffing. To make the stuffing, peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well. Now take a pan and add some oil to it and then fry finely chopped green chilies, turmeric, and cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds turn golden, add potatoes to it. Now add coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to these potatoes. When it is cooked properly, add chopped coriander leaves to it.
Now keep it aside to cool down. While it is cooling, prepare the gram flour batter. For this, mix gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, and baking soda in a bowl. Prepare a thick batter by adding water slowly.
Finally, cut the bread slices diagonally and divide them into two parts. Spread the potato mixture on each bread slice and place another bread slice on top. Now dip these prepared bread sandwiches in the gram flour batter and take them out immediately. Keep in mind that the gram flour batter should not be too thick.
Now pour a little oil on a hot pan and place the gram flour dipped bread sandwich on it. Now fry it from all sides till it becomes golden. After it becomes crispy, serve it with tea and sweet and sour chutney.
