Friends, as we all know that our daily routine has a good and bad effect on our overall health. Our habits play an important role in shaping physical health, but also shape the health of our brain. There are some such habits of ours which have a bad effect on our mental health, let's know about these habits-

1. Lack of sleep

Inadequate sleep increases the risk of developing Alzheimer's and other mental disorders. Aim to get 7-8 hours of good sleep every night. Consider creating a routine that limits screen use before bedtime to increase rest.

2. Taking excessive stress

High stress levels trigger the secretion of cortisol, which can impair cognitive abilities and cause mental fatigue. Include yoga, meditation or regular physical exercise to promote relaxation and mental clarity.

3. Unhealthy diet and junk food

A diet rich in processed foods and sugar can cause inflammation in the brain and reduce cognitive function over time. Focus on a balanced diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to support brain health.

4. Lack of physical activity

A sedentary lifestyle limits oxygen flow to the brain, which can hinder cognitive function and memory retention. Get at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day to keep both your body and brain active.

5. Excessive screen time

Prolonged exposure to screens can cause eye strain and mental fatigue, which can lead to reduced attention and concentration. Set limits for screen time and take regular breaks.
