Ingredients for making gourd soup
- one small onion finely chopped
- a piece of ginger finely chopped
- 2 to 4 garlic - chopped
- 2 cups bottle gourd-chopped
- Coriander – finely chopped
- Mint -10 to 12
- 2 cups water
- Cumin – half teaspoon
- Asafoetida – a pinch
- Black pepper – a pinch
- Black salt- as per taste
- Ghee- 1 spoon for tadka
How to make gourd soup
- First of all, put the cooker on gas and let it heat up.
- Now add one spoon of olive oil to it
- Let the oil heat a little.
- Now add finely chopped onion, ginger, garlic and fry.
- Now add pumpkin, coriander, mint and 2 cups of water and pack it.
- Now cook in the cooker till three whistles.
- Now put the pumpkin in a blender and make a smooth paste.
- Add seasoning of cumin and asafoetida.
- Finally, add black pepper and black salt to the soup.
- Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
