High blood pressure is a dangerous medical condition which is also known as hypertension. In this condition, the blood present in the arteries exerts excessive pressure, which causes strain in the cardiovascular system, and creates the risk of many diseases, including heart attack, kidney disease, and stroke. However, you can control BP by adopting some morning habits. Let us know what you have to do.

What to do in the morning to control BP?
1. Fix the time of waking up

If you fix the time of sleeping as well as waking up in the morning and maintain it, then your blood pressure will remain under control and mental stress will also reduce, but if you do not follow this routine then problems may increase.

2. Drink a glass of water
Start your day by drinking a glass of water. Staying hydrated helps in controlling blood volume, which can reduce blood pressure. You can replace your glass of water with flavored water. To further enhance the taste and nutrients in water, you can also add lemon to it.

3. Do exercise
Engaging in physical activity like brisk walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, or any other aerobic exercise for at least 150 minutes every week can help reduce blood pressure. Morning is a very good time to exercise.

4. Do not drink tea or coffee
Many of us start our morning by drinking drinks like tea and coffee, but caffeine is found in abundance in them. Due to this, blood pressure suddenly increases. It is better not to drink such beverages in the morning and reduce or eliminate their intake.
