What is Bima Sakhi Yojana?

Bima Sakhi Yojana is a special scheme started by Life Insurance Corporation i.e. LIC for women. It benefits women from 18 to 70 years. In the scheme, priority will be given to those women who are tenth pass. First, these women will be given training for 3 years in the scheme. During this time they will be taught about insurance.

The need for insurance will be explained. So that they can give better information about it to the people in the future. During the training, women will also be given a stipend. And after the training, they can also get appointments as LIC agents. On the other hand, women who are BA pass can also get a chance to become development officers.

When will the money be received?

Today, i.e. on 11 December, PM Modi has launched the Bima Sakhi Yojana. From today, women joining this scheme will start getting money. In the first year of training, Rs 7000 will be given, while in the second year, Rs 6000 and in the third year Rs 5000 will be given. That is, during the training period, women will get a total of more than 2 lakh rupees. Apart from this, bonuses and commissions will be given separately. Let us tell you that women will get it only when 65% of the policies sold remain effective next year.
