Women must eat these fruits in PCOS
- Women with PCOS must eat bananas. It is rich in fibre, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, antioxidants and phytonutrients.
- It contains high amounts of water and potassium. But sugar is less. Bananas are also good for gut health and their glycemic index is also low.
- Apple must be eaten in PCOS. Eating apples keeps sugar and weight under control. This reduces insulin resistance.
- Dietary fiber is high in PCOS and eating it helps in reducing the symptoms of PCOS.
- Pear has a low GI. It has a high fibre content. It helps in weight loss.
- Women with PCOS must also eat oranges. It contains Vitamin C in abundance. Including it in the diet boosts immunity.
- Kiwi, rich in low GI, high Vitamin C, Vitamin E and potassium, is also considered beneficial in reducing the symptoms of PCOS.
- It is good for digestion. In PCOS, women often have problems related to digestion.
- Kiwi helps in improving bowel movement and relieving constipation.
- Pomegranate contains anti-oxidants and probiotics. This improves gut health and also removes anaemia.
