Trekking is often preferred by people who want to move away from the noise and crowd and get closer to nature. All it requires is willpower and a certain level of fitness. But if you are going to try trekking for the first time, then you can start from these places.

Dayara Bugyal Trek
Located in Bugyal, Uttarakhand, this place is one of the best treks in India. From newbies to seasoned trekkers, you will find both here. Here one has to pass through alpine meadows to green pastures. Beautiful and high mountains of the Himalayas will be seen behind. You will also experience dense deodar and oak forests and rivulets during the trek. Dayara Bugyal is said to be the only trek that offers breathtaking views of the entire Gangotri and Yamunotri ranges. Camps will also be found along the trail, where one can rest for a while.

Humpta Pass Trek
For beginners in trekking, the Hampta Pass trek can prove to be a good option. The trek starts from Humpta village in Kullu and ends at Chatru in Lahaul and Spiti Valley. It takes around 4 to 6 days to cover a distance of 35 km and if you follow a good fitness routine, it will be one of the most exhilarating experiences of your life.

Triund Trek
Not all Himalayan treks are as difficult as they sound. If you haven't tried Himalayan treks yet, you should start with the Triund trek, which is easy and offers breathtaking views of the Kangra Valley and the surrounding Dhauladhar ranges. Start the trek from Mcleodganj, Bhagsunag, or Dharamkot, and then start walking at your own pace, passing through beautiful oak forests and lovely villages, and reaching the peak in about 4-5 hours. Here you can watch beautiful sunsets and if you want more than that, you can stay overnight and watch the sunrise in the morning.

Nag Tibba Trek
This is another easy Himalayan trek in Uttarakhand itself, which can be recommended for new trekkers. The trek begins with rocky terrain, which is almost easily doable. The scenery here looks quite magical and charming. One of the primary reasons to do this trek is that it starts from the peaks of Garhwal and gives spectacular views of Kala Nag, Kedarnath, Bandarpoonch, and Swargarohini. One will also find a temple dedicated to the serpent deity here, which is quite popular among the locals.
