In the religion of Islam, the month of Ramadan is considered very holy. Muslims all over the world keep fast for the whole month, during this time they do not eat or drink anything from dawn till sunset. This type of intermittent fasting can be beneficial for health in many ways, but oral health also has to be taken care of because if not done, bad breath starts. Let us know what are the halal methods through which we can avoid bad breath.
1. Do Miswak
Miswak, which is also known as Datun in the common language, is good for oral health. You can clean your teeth and mouth thoroughly with the help of the teeth of many trees including acacia. By using it while fasting, bad breath can disappear quickly.
2. Use dental floss
Many times, after having Sehri, a piece of food or fiber gets stuck between the teeth, which does not come out even after rinsing, which can cause a foul smell in the mouth after rotting. For this, you can use dental floss which can easily remove the things stuck between the teeth.
3. Avoid sweets
If you consume too many sweet things during dinner or Sehri, it increases the chances of bacterial growth in the mouth which can cause cavities and bad breath. That's why you prefer fresh fruits and vegetables instead of sugary foods.
4. Do not eat smelling foods
Generally, some people consume such foods during Sehri which are rich in onion, garlic, and spices. Due to this, there may be a strong bad smell from the mouth. It is better to avoid these things.
