4 The government has run many schemes for the needy and poor people living not only in cities but also in far-flung villages. Through these, the government is working to provide benefits to the people. Many other schemes like providing financial help including insurance, pension, housing, employment, and allowance are also going on in the country. In this series, there is a scheme 'Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Chief Minister Scheme'. This scheme was started by the central government and now at present, some state governments are also involved in this scheme, so that health services can reach the needy and poor sections for free. Get this benefit
If you get an Ayushman card made, then you get the benefit of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. You have to go to the empaneled hospital with the Ayushman card, after which you can get your treatment done free of cost.
Eligible people can apply like this:-
Step 1
If you are eligible for Ayushman Yojana, then you can apply for it
Step 2
After visiting the public service center you have to meet the concerned officer
Then you have to show them your necessary documents like- Ration Card, Aadhaar Card, Residence Certificate, etc.
Step 3
After this, your eligibility is checked by the officer
Along with this, your documents are also checked i.e. verification is done.
When everything is found correct, then within about 15 days your Ayushman card is ready.
