Free treatment of Rs 5 lakh
In fact, under the Ayushman scheme, Ayushman cards are made for eligible people, after which the cardholder can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in listed hospitals.
You can get free treatment like this through an Ayushman card: –
Step 1
If you also have an Ayushman card, then you can get your treatment done for free.
For this, first, you have to know whether the hospital you are going to is registered in Ayushman Yojana or not.
Step 2
If the hospital is registered in Ayushman Yojana, then you can go there
Whereas, if this hospital is not registered in the scheme, then you have to go to the hospital which is affiliated with it.
By going there you have to go to the Ayushman Mitra Help Desk
Step 3
Your card and documents will be checked at the help desk
Then if everything is found correct, you are permitted free treatment.
After this, you can get free treatment up to Rs.5 lakh.
