What is an Ayushman Card?
Ayushman Bharat Yojana is run by the Government of India, under this scheme, Ayushman cards of eligible people are made. This is the card by which you can avail free treatment. You have to show this card at the Mitra Help Desk in the hospital at the time of treatment.
This is how you can get Ayushman card made:-
Step 1
If you are also eligible for the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, then you can get an Ayushman card made
For this, you can apply offline
First of all, you have to go to your nearest Najseva Kendra
Step 2
After this, you have to go to the center and meet the concerned officer and tell them that you want to get an Ayushman card made
In such a situation, the concerned officer first checks your eligibility
Then when you are eligible, the process is completed
Step 3
After checking the eligibility, now the related documents are taken from the applicant
Like- Aadhar card, address proof, etc.
Then these documents are verified
After this, when the investigation is found correct, your application is done
Step 4
After some time or a few days after the application, you can download your Ayushman card
Then with this card, you can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in listed hospitals
The entire cost of this is borne by the government.
