Ayurvedic tea
This is an Ayurvedic remedy for instant relief from gas trouble.
Ingredients of Ayurvedic Tea
- Ajwain - 1 tsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Rock salt - 1 pinch
- Water - 1 cup
Method to prepare and use
- To make it, fry celery, cumin and rock salt in a pan.
- Then add 1 cup of water to it.
- Boil it for 2-3 minutes.
- Then filter it and drink it while sitting in Vajrasan.
Advantages
- All these things are used in almost every house to solve the problem of gas. Ajwain and cumin along with asafoetida remove Vata imbalance. Thymol is found in celery, which relieves gas.
- Asafoetida has carminative and antispasmodic properties, which reduce abdominal pain, flatulence and cramps. Asafoetida also keeps digestion healthy, so most of the gassy foods like cabbage, arbi etc. are made from asafoetida.
- Cumin is an age-old home remedy for quick relief from gas and acidity. It increases the secretion of digestive enzymes and speeds up the digestion process.
- When you consume this tea in Vajrasana posture, Vata remains in balance and problems like gas, pain and bloating go away.
What to do to avoid stomach gas?
- Avoid eating flour and fried things, as they are difficult to digest.
- If there is any digestive problem or constipation, then the problem of gas can bother you.
- Improve eating habits. Avoid eating food late at night.
- The problem of gas can also be caused by stress, so try to remove it.
- Have a good night's sleep.
