After Vande Bharat Express, now the country is going to get Amrit Bharat Express. On 30 December 2023, two new trains were gifted to the people by Prime Minister NarendraModi. This train will be similar to Vande Bharat, but its fare will be less.

Now people will be able to travel by Amrit Bharat Express at lower ticket prices. Now those who were not able to travel to Vande Bharat due to high ticket prices can travel to Amrit Bharat. Railway Minister AshwiniVaishnav has informed that 300 to 400 Amrit Bharat Express will run every year in the country.

What will be different in the Amrit Bharat train?

  • Changes have been made in general class and second class on this train. Now the facilities of the passengers will be taken care of. This train will run at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour.
  • Coaches in Amrit Bharat Train – There will be a total of 22 coaches on this train.
  • Special care has been taken for the facilities of the disabled on the train.
  • Cushions will also be installed on the luggage rack or racks.
  • Compared to normal trains, its seats have been made more comfortable and attractive.
  • Amrit Bharat Express will be like a metro, through which people will be able to move from one compartment to another.

Charging points will be available near every seat on the train. Therefore, people will no longer face any problem in charging their phones.

CCTV cameras, bio-vacuum toilets, sensor-based taps, LED lights and information boards for information of passengers will also be available.

Amrit Bharat Train Route

There is good news for the people going from Lucknow to Darbhanga and Delhi. Because this train has started on these routes from January 1. It will run from Darbhanga to AnandVihar two days a week on Monday and Thursday. If you are going from AnandVihar, you will be able to travel on Tuesday and Friday.

Amrit Bharat Express Train Fare

If you are travelling by this train, the fare up to 50 km will be Rs 35. But compared to other trains, sleeper and second-class fares are said to be 17 to 18% higher.
