Water chestnut flour - 1 bowl
Potato - 1/2 kg
Curd - 1/2 cup
Ginger - 1-inch piece
Green chili - 4
Green coriander - 2 tbsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Groundnut oil - for frying
Chopped dry fruits – 1 tbsp
Oil - for frying
Rock salt - as per taste
How to make Fruity Potato Patties
To make potato patties as a fruit during fasting, first, boil the potatoes and then peel them off and mash them one by one in a utensil. Now finely chop green chilies and coriander leaves. After this grate or crush a piece of ginger. After this add finely chopped green chilies, green coriander, and crushed ginger to the mashed potatoes and mix. After this add cumin powder and water chestnut flour to the mixture and mix.
After mixing the mixture well, add pieces of dry fruits and rock salt as per taste and then prepare round balls of medium size. Keep the prepared patis balls separately on a plate. After this, put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add the prepared potato patties and deep fry them. Keep stirring the patties while frying.
Fry the patties until their color turns golden brown. Simultaneously fry the patties till they become crispy. After this, take out the fried potato patties on a plate.
