Ingredients to make Potato Kurma
– 7-8 potatoes
- 4 tbsp curd
- 5 tbsp desi ghee
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
– 15-20 cashews
- 1/2 bowl brown onions
– 5 cloves
- 1 large cardamom
- 1-2 small cardamom
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 pieces cinnamon
– 8-10 black pepper
- 1/4 tbsp nutmeg powder
- water as needed

Potato Kurma Recipe
To make Potato Kurma, first wash the potatoes, peel them and divide all the potatoes into two pieces. Fry the chopped potatoes with oil in a pan for some time. When the potatoes become dry, fry the potatoes until their color turns golden brown. While the potatoes are frying, make the curd mixture. Mixing all the ingredients for the mixture, put desi ghee in a pan and keep it on medium flame. Add cardamom to it and fry till the color of the mixture changes. The color of the mixture, now add chopped onion and fry till it turns golden brown.

Now add one cup of water to the mixture and stir it slowly. It has to be run until its water dries up and the oil separates. Now add curd mixture to it, stir it and fry for some time. After this add cashew paste and fry.

Now put potatoes in it, add salt, a cup of water, cardamom, black pepper and nutmeg powder along with it. Now cover the pan and reduce the flame of the gas. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes or wait until the potato absorbs water. After drying the water, add lemon juice to it. Now put cream in it and take it off the gas. Now you can serve it on the dinner table.
