To start Weather Alert on your iPhone, open the Settings app on the phone and go to Privacy & Security. In it, select Location Services, then Weather, and tap Always. Turn on your current location and give all the necessary permissions from the settings. Now select the city and turn on the notification. You will start getting alerts.
For weather alerts on Android phones, open the phone setting and select weather from the notification option. Now turn on severe weather alerts from the weather setting. Now you will get an advance alert of rain and storm.
