Research has found that people who spend more time sitting have a 112 percent higher risk of diabetes. Health experts say diabetes is a serious health problem whose risk is increasing in people of all ages. The problem of diabetes can also increase the risk of many other diseases like heart disease and inflammation.

Risk factors for heart disease
Heart diseases are one of the leading causes of death globally and your risk of developing heart disease increases significantly if you sit for long periods. The study found that men who watched television or sat for more than 23 hours a week had a 64 percent higher risk of developing heart disease and dying from it than others. This can be a problem that increases the risk of heart attack or stroke by 147 percent.
