The privacy of Android users is once again in danger. Now a malware app has come to the fore that can track Android users' private messaging apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram and read messages. Google has removed this app from its play store. It would be better if you also delete it from your phone immediately.
Cyber firm Cyfirma has said in one of its reports that the SafeChat app is not safe for users. Even though its name is Safe but this app is not safe at any cost. This app spies on users and reads their private messages.
It is believed that the Indian hacking group Bahamut is behind this app. SafeChat app monitors all the social media chatting apps of the users. Also, read their phone's text messages, call log, and GPS location.
In the year 2022, the same group designed dummy VPN apps for tracking and spying on people. According to the report of Cyfirma, if the spyware of Bahamut Group is enabled, then any device can be controlled remotely. With the help of the spyware of this group, every piece of information on the users' phones can be obtained.
Malware apps like SafeChat can also obtain information about users' internet connection, IP address, SIM card serial number, etc. For your information, let us tell you that SafeChat claims safe and secure chatting but it spies on the users. If the SafeChat app is also installed in your phone, then delete it immediately.
