Alert: Google removed these 17 loan apps from Play Store, they were blackmailing people, delete them immediately..

Android phones always play with risks. Every week there are reports of malware in Android apps or phones. Now another news has come that has worried Android users. 18 such apps have been identified on Google Play Store which contain SpyLoan malware. Lakhs of people have installed loan apps containing this malware on their phones.

These loan apps have been designed in such a way that they can steal the data of the users. These loan apps also save photos of users from their phones on their servers and then on the basis of these photos and videos, people are later blackmailed.

This information has been given in a report by ESET. The report says that with the help of SpyLoan, these loan apps bypass many types of permissions. They also dodge Google's Play Store policy. Through these apps, people get instant loans for which very high interest is also charged. Users in Africa, Latin America, and South East Asia are being targeted by these apps containing SpyLoan malware.

Before publishing any app on the Google Play Store, the developer has to get KYC done. These apps bypass that too. With these apps, links to fake websites and fake documents are provided that look similar to the original ones.

As soon as a user applies for a loan from these apps, they ask for various permissions to grant the loan, which include access to the contact list, camera, messages, Wi-Fi network, call logs, calendar, etc. Before taking the loan, the return period is shown to be different but after giving the loan, these apps reduce its duration and then start blackmailing the users.

A user has claimed that he had taken a loan of Rs 2,160. He was supposed to return Rs 2,640 with interest in 60 days, but one of these loan apps charged him Rs 4,800. ESET's report says that information about these apps has been given to Google.

After receiving the information, Google deleted 17 apps but one app is still present on the Play Store. The names of these apps are 4S Cash, AA Kredit, Amor Cash, Cartera grande, Cashwow, CrediBus, EasyCash, EasyCredit, Finupp Lending, FlashLoan, Go Crédito, GuayabaCash, Instantáneo Préstamo, Préstamos De Crédito-YumiCash, PréstamosCrédito, Rápido Crédito, TrueNaira. If any of these apps are in your phone, then delete it immediately and if someone is blackmailing you, then complain to the cyber police.
