Malmas, also known as Purushottam month, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Importance of Tulsi worship

Importance of worshiping Shaligram
According to Padampuraan, the creature who visits Shaligram in Adhikamas. He bows his head, bathes him, and worships him by dedicating Tulsi Dal. He gets merit equal to crores of sacrifices and the fruit of crores of cows. Many sins are removed by remembering, chanting, meditating, worshiping, and saluting them. The place where there are Shaligram and Tulsi, Lord Shri Hari resides there and Bhagwati Lakshmi also resides there along with all the pilgrimages. It is a religious belief that Lord Keshav resides in Shaligram, where all the deities, Asuras, Yakshas, and fourteen Bhuvans are present. The one who anoints himself with the water of the Shaligram rock gets the same results as bathing in all the pilgrimages and the same as performing all the yagyas.
