One of the many schemes being run by the Government of India is Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Under this scheme, Ayushman cards are first made for those who are eligible. After this, the cardholder can get his free treatment in the listed hospital i.e. those hospitals. The entire cost of this treatment is borne by the Government of India and you do not have to spend from your pocket.
The cardholder is given a cover of up to Rs 5 lakh every year, but do you know who is eligible for this Ayushman Bharat scheme and who is not? First, know whose Ayushman card can be made.
If you also want to get an Ayushman card made, then first know who is eligible for it. According to the eligibility list, those people with this card who work in the unorganized sector, those who are not taking advantage of ESIC or PF, those who are living their lives on or below the poverty line, etc. If you are included in this list, then you can apply to get an Ayushman card.
How can you get Ayushman's card made?
If you are eligible to get an Ayushman card, then you can go to your nearest CSC center to get an Ayushman card made.
Here you have to meet the concerned officer
Then the eligibility of the applicant is checked by the officer
After checking the eligibility, your documents are verified
Then after this, your application is done
After some time your Ayushman card is ready, which you can download from the portal itself.
After this card is made, you can avail free treatment, the entire cost of which is borne by the government.
These are the people for whom Ayushman Card cannot be made
People whose PF is deducted or who take benefit of ESIC, people who work in the organized sector, people who pay tax or who do government jobs, etc. People who fall in this category cannot get an Ayushman Card because these people are ineligible for this scheme.
