Ayushman card holders can get free treatment in this way:-
Step 1
If you are also an Ayushman card holder, that is, you also have an Ayushman card, then you can avail the benefit of free treatment
First of all, you have to go to the hospital that is registered in the Ayushman scheme, remember not to forget to take the Ayushman card with you
Step 2
Now that you have gone to the hospital registered in the scheme, you have to find out about the Ayushman Mitra Help Desk here, which is set up in every hospital associated with the scheme
Here you have to meet the concerned officer and tell them that you are an Ayushman cardholder
Step 3
After this, you have to give your Ayushman card to the officer present at the Mitra Help Desk
Then your card is checked and matched with the records
After everything is found correct, you are given the facility of free treatment
You can get free treatment up to this much
Ayushman Bharat Yojana is run especially for those people who are financially weak and come from the poor class. In such a situation, after making the Ayushman card, the cardholder can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. The entire cost of this is borne by the government.
