Even today, there is a large section of people who are living below the poverty line. Many types of schemes are being run in the country, especially for such people. Subsidy for building houses, free cooking gas, provision of pension, providing free and cheap ration, etc. Many other such schemes are running in the country, one of which is Ayushman Bharat Scheme. This scheme is run by the Central Government and it is a health scheme, under which free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is provided to the eligible people. Therefore, if you also want to avail the benefit of free treatment by joining this scheme, then you have to know your eligibility. So let us know who is eligible to apply. Step 1
If you also want to know whether you will be able to get the benefit of this scheme or not, then you will have to check your eligibility for it.
You first have to go to the official website of the scheme pmjay.gov.in
Here you have to click on the option 'Am I Eligible'
Step 2
After this, you have to enter your 10-digit mobile number, on which an OTP will come.
Enter the OTP and also fill in the captcha code given on the screen and then click on login.
Now two options will be visible, in the first one you have to select your state.

Then select your district in the second option
Now fill in the thing from which you want to search, - If you want to search for an Aadhaar card, then select Aadhaar.
After this fill in the Aadhaar number and click on search, after which you will know whether you are eligible or not.

To apply, first of all, you have to go to the nearest public service center meet the concerned officer, and give your documents.
Apart from verifying these, the eligibility of the applicant is also checked.
Then if everything is found correct, the application is made.
