Like- A Driving License, PAN Card, Ration Card, etc. But we all know that an Aadhaar card is such a document, without which many of our works can get stuck. That's why almost everyone has it in today's time. Not only this, things like their name, address, or date of birth get printed wrongly on the Aadhaar card of many people, due to which they have to face many problems. If these things have been wrongly printed on your Aadhaar card too, then you can update them by yourself sitting at home. So let's know the method without delay. You can update in this simple way:-
Step 1
Even on your Aadhaar card, if any of your name, date of birth, or address is wrongly printed, then you can get this updated.
For this, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in
Here you have to click on the option 'My Aadhaar'
Step 2
Then you have to go to the option 'Update your Aadhaar' and click on 'Update your Demographics Data Online'
By clicking here you will reach the official website ssup.uidai.gov.in
Step 3
After this, you have to enter your 12 digits Aadhaar number
Then enter the captcha code shown on the screen
Now you have to click on 'Send OTP', after which an OTP will come to your mobile number
Enter this OTP here
Step 4
Then a new page will open in front of you, where you have to fill in other information including your name, date of birth, gender, and address.
Now choose the option which you want to update, like name or date of birth, etc.
Step 5
After this, as soon as you fill in all the information, an OTP will come to your registered mobile number.
Enter this OTP and click on Save changes
Doing so will update your changed information
Just keep in mind that whatever you are changing, you have proof of it.
