Know how to change the photo
It is normal to have an objection regarding a photo on an Aadhaar card. You can update your name, home address, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and e-mail ID in your Aadhar card. Along with this, photos, fingerprints, and iris scans can also be updated. If you are also dissatisfied with your photo, then you can change your photo. Therefore, you will have to go to your nearest Aadhaar center, from where you can get the photo changed.
Please note that the facility to update the photo on an Aadhaar card is not available online. This means that you cannot change it sitting at home. Therefore, to update the photo on your Aadhaar card, you will have to go to the nearest Aadhaar center.
Know how to update
First of all, you have to go to the UIDAI website uidai.gov.in and log in. Then after this, you have to download the Aadhaar Enrollment Form
Fill out the form and submit it to the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
The staff at the center will take your biometric details from you.
The center staff will take your photo
Apart from this, the employee of the center will update the new photo by charging Rs 25 + GST.
From the center, you will get a slip with URN
Using URN you can check whether your Aadhar card photo has changed or not.
After the photo on the card is updated, download an updated Aadhaar card with the new photo.
