What to do in case of loss or theft?
If your Aadhaar is lost or stolen due to some reason, then first of all you can go to your nearest police station and get an FIR done. Keep in mind that take a copy of it, which will be useful for you, and if something goes wrong with your Aadhaar, then you can be safe.

After this, you can go to your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra and tell the officer present there that your Aadhaar card is lost or stolen and also show them a copy of the FIR. After this, according to the instructions of the concerned officer, you can get your second Aadhaar card made.

On generating the Aadhaar card again, your biometric authentication is also done. This is also important from the point of view of security. Then you have to pay some fees at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra and then you are done.
