We have many types of documents which we need on different occasions. If any one of these documents is missing, then your work may get stuck. For example, take the Aadhaar card itself. This is a document that you need for government as well as non-government work. Be it getting a SIM card or telling your identity, opening an account in a bank or getting KYC done, etc. An Aadhaar card is necessary for many such works, but have you got your Aadhaar card updated? If not, then know that today i.e. 14 December 2024 (for getting it updated for free) is its last date. If you have not got it updated now, then you may have to pay a fee further. Get it updated like this:-
Step 1
If you have not updated your Aadhaar card yet, then know that today is the last chance to update your Aadhaar for free.
After this you may have to pay a fee, so today is your last chance
In such a situation, to get Aadhaar updated, first of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
Step 2
After this, you have to log in here
For this, you have to click on login, after which you have to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number here.
After filling in the UID number, you have to fill in the captcha code given on the screen here.
After filling in the captcha code, an OTP comes on your mobile number which you have to enter here.
Step 3
After logging in, your dashboard will open
After this, many options will come in front of you, out of which you have to click on the option of 'Update Aadhaar Card'
Then you have to upload your documents here
Note that You have to upload one of your photo IDs and one address proof
Step 4
Now you have to choose one document in photo ID and upload this document
After this, you have to choose another document with address proof and upload it
Here keep in mind that the file size of the document you upload should not be more than 2 MB
Then your documents are verified by the department and after finding everything correct your Aadhaar card gets updated within a few days.
