Many times people make some mistakes while making an Aadhaar card. But UIDAI allows updating the Aadhaar card. However, you have to pay a fee for this. But if you update your Aadhaar card to this date. Then you will not have to pay any fee for that, because UIDAI is giving you a chance to update your Aadhaar for free.

Aadhaar will be updated for free from 14 December.
Aadhaar card holders are currently being given a big facility by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Those whose Aadhaar card is 10 years old, can get their Aadhaar card updated for free. 14 December has been fixed as the last date by UIDAI for getting a free UID card updated.

If you get your Aadhaar card updated by this date, then you will not have to pay the fee for an Aadhaar update. If you want to get your Aadhaar card updated for free, then for this you will have to visit the official website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/du/en_IN.

Fees will have to be paid later.

If you get your Aadhaar card updated after 14 December, then for this you will have to pay the fee fixed by UIDAI. If you are making changes in any of your biometric information recorded in the Aadhaar card, then for this you will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. But if you get any demographic information updated, then you will have to pay a fee of only Rs 50.
