At the same time, many types of updates are also given by UIDAI from time to time, such as, all people have to update 10 year old Aadhaar cards. A fee may be charged after the last date.
If you have not updated your Aadhaar, then get this work done before 14 December 2024. This is the last date given by the department at present. Therefore, if you do not do this, then after this date you may have to pay a fee.
Has the Aadhaar been updated or not? You can check the status like this:-
Step 1
If your Aadhaar card is 10 years old or older and you have updated it, then it becomes necessary for you to check whether it has been updated or not.
For this, you have to check your status.
To check the status, first you have to go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/en/
Step 2
After going here, you have to click on login
Where you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number
Then an OTP comes on your registered mobile number, enter it here
Now your dashboard will open in front of you
Here you have to go to the 'My Aadhaar' section
Step 3
After going to this section, you have to click on the option of 'Check Aadhaar Update Status'
Then you will see the option of 'SRN' on which you have to click and then enter your Service Request Number here, which you get while updating Aadhaar.
Finally, enter the captcha code given on the screen Enter it, and then you will see your status and know whether your Aadhaar has been updated or not.
