UIDAI is providing the facility for people to update their Aadhar cards for free. Now you can update your Aadhar card for free till 14 March 2024.

You can update your Aadhaar card both online or offline. To update your Aadhaar card, you need one document each of identity card and address proof. You can use your Voter ID card for identity proof.

How to update Aadhar card online?
-First of all, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI.
-After this, you click on the option of Aadhaar update.
-If you want to update your address then select the option of update address.
-After this enter the registered mobile number and enter OTP.
-After this select the option of Documents Update.
Now you will see information related to Aadhaar.
-Verify the details and then upload the documents required to update the address.
- Accept the Aadhaar update process.
- Now you will get the Update Request Number (URN) number which you can track.

What is the offline method?
Apart from this, you can also update your Aadhar card offline.
For this, you will have to go to CSC or Aadhar Centre.
Let us tell you that after March 14, 2024, you may have to pay a charge for updating Aadhaar.
