However, the government is currently providing the benefit of 42 percent DA.
Earlier in the month of March, a decision was taken to increase DA by 4 percent, the rates of which came into effect from January 1, 2023. If the government now increases the DA of central employees and pensioners by 4 percent, then its rates are considered possible to be implemented from July 1, 2023. At present, central government employees are getting the benefit of 2.60 times fitment factor.
