Rinku Singh once again became the hero of Kolkata's victory. He not only scored 21 runs in 10 balls but also saved the match from slipping out of hand. Rinku Singh, now this name is on everyone's lips. After the match, he also said that now people have started knowing. Every team came to know who Rinku is and what he can do.

Thrill of the last over

KKR needed just 6 runs to win in the last over. Andre Russell and Rinku Singh were present at the crease. Both were batting fast. The match seemed to be easily going to Kolkata's account, but this is IPL and its real thrill was yet to come. Arshdeep Singh came on the attack in the last over.

  • Russell could not add any runs on the first ball of Arshdeep's over, leaving KKR with 5 balls and the target was 6 runs.
  • Russell took a single on the second ball and Rinku Singh came on strike. After this single, KKR needed 5 runs off 4 balls.
  • Third ball Arshdeep bowled a full toss, but Rinku could not hit a big shot on it and could only take a single.
