Royal Challengers Bangalore will have high hopes from their batsmen when they take on Lucknow Supergiants in the 15th match of IPL 2023 on Monday. At the same time, she will be looking forward to a disciplined performance from the bowlers in the death overs. In the last match, RCB had to face defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders by 81 runs.

RCB would like to return to the winning track in the match to be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Although the league is still in its early stages, the bowling of the last overs remains a cause of concern for Bangalore. RCB had dropped five wickets for Kolkata's 89 runs at one time in the last match, but despite this, the opposition team was able to score 204 runs for seven wickets.

Even against Mumbai, the team gave away above 13 runs per over in the last five overs. Harshal Patel and Mohammad Siraj have been able to do well with the new ball but are not able to do much better in the later overs. There is still doubt over Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga's playing. Apart from this, Hazlewood is suffering from a heel injury, due to which RCB's bowling has become a weak link in the death overs. RCB's batting undoubtedly has depth. Virat Kohli and captain Faf Duplessis played a key role in the victory against Mumbai, but the team got caught in the spin trap in front of Kolkata.

Supergiants bowling strong
On the other hand, Lucknow's team will enter this match after a five-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last match. Young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi has taken six wickets so far. Krunal Pandya and the experienced Amit Mishra are also playing impressive roles. In fast bowling, Mark Wood has so far taken eight wickets in his bag. Wood is down with flu and medium pacer Avesh Khan was injured in the last match.
