A source close to the management of CSK told PTI on conditions of anonymity – Yes, Dhoni has undergone a successful knee surgery on Thursday at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. He is fine and will be discharged in a day or two. He will rest for a few days before starting his rehabilitation. Now it looks like he will have enough time to get fit to play in the next IPL.
CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan revealed that he spoke to Dhoni after his surgery on Thursday. He had said that Dhoni had a conversation after the operation. Dhoni was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday (May 31) evening.
