Mumbai Indians playoff equation
Mumbai, captained by Rohit Sharma, has played 12 matches, out of which it has won seven matches. He has 14 marks. If Mumbai wins both its matches, it will reach the playoffs. Winning both matches, this team will come second in the points table. Even if Mumbai wins only one match out of two, it can reach the playoffs. But here his negative run rate can create trouble for Mumbai.
But if Mumbai loses both its matches then it will be in trouble because its net run rate is not good. Here the five-time winner Mumbai will be out of the playoff race.

Lucknow's playoff equation
Lucknow also has two matches left and if it wins both matches then it will reach the playoffs. But if she wins one match and loses one, then she will get 15 points. In such a situation, four teams can leave Lucknow behind. Then the chances of Lucknow going to the playoffs will be very less. If this team loses two matches, then Lucknow will have only 13 points and in such a situation this team will not be able to reach the playoffs.
