"Jose Buttler of Rajasthan Royals has been fined 10 percent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata," the IPL said in a statement. Butler has admitted a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. The decision of the match referee is final for breach of Level 1 of the Code of Conduct. Rajasthan Royals won this match by nine wickets.

What happened in the match?
Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 149 runs for eight wickets and set a target of 150 runs in front of Rajasthan Royals. Venkatesh Iyer scored the maximum 57 runs for Kolkata. At the same time, captain Nitish Rana played an inning of 22 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal took four wickets for Rajasthan. Trent Boult got two wickets. Sandeep Sharma and KM Asif took one wicket each.
