Former Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina, popularly known as Chinna Thala, has praised MS Dhoni. Raina said that whatever MS Dhoni touches, it turns into gold.
Under his captaincy, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings to a 15-run win over Gujarat Titans to reach the final of IPL 2023. In the match played at Chepauk Stadium, CSK scored 172/7 by batting first. In response, the team Gujarat Titans got stacked on 157 runs.
Raina said that Dhoni kept his strategy simple against Gujarat and added that the entire country wanted to see him win the IPL title. CSK, who beat Gujarat Titans in the first qualifier, entered the final for a record 10th time.

Suresh Raina said, “Look how CSK reached the final. 10 finals out of 14 seasons. I think this is a wonderful achievement. MS Dhoni kept things simple. He deserves the credit and Ruturaj Gaikwad told me that CSK wants to win the title this year for Dhoni. Entire India wants to see Dhoni win the IPL.
He further said, “We got to see that Chennai Super Kings are challenging to beat on this ground. Whatever MS Dhoni touches, it turns into gold and that is why his name is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. CSK had secured the second position in the points table in the league stage of IPL 2023.
