Gautam Gambhir, the mentor of Lucknow Supergiants in IPL 2023, continues to be in the headlines. Recently he clashed with Virat Kohli in the match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Lucknow. After this, BCCI deducted 100 percent match fees for both. However, now his name has come up in a noble cause. Gambhir has helped in the treatment of former Indian leg-spinner Rahul Sharma's ailing mother-in-law. Rahul thanked Gambhir for this generosity.


Rahul made a post on Twitter and told the whole story in it. Rahul wrote – Last month was very difficult for us. My mother-in-law had a brain hemorrhage, her condition was critical. Thanks to Gautam Gambhir paaji and his PA Gaurav Arora who helped me through such difficult times and got me admitted to the best neurologist and hospital. His surgery has been done successfully and in less time. Now he is absolutely fine. Thanks to Gangaram Hospital and its staff for taking such good care.


In this post, Rahul has also shared emotional pictures with his wife and mother-in-law. Rahul, 36, represented teams like Deccan Chargers, Pune Warriors, Delhi Capitals, and Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. He played 44 matches in IPL and took 40 wickets. Three wickets for 13 runs is his best performance. Apart from this, he has also played four ODIs and two T20s for India. He has six wickets in four ODIs and three wickets in two T20s. Rahul made his ODI debut against West Indies in 2011 and his T20 debut against Australia in 2012.
