Former India captain and former BCCI president Saurabh Ganguly has been in the limelight since the start of IPL 2023. This season, he first hit headlines for his handshake with Virat Kohli during the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals match and then got trolled by fans for tweeting after Shubman Gill's century.

However, he did this tweet after the match played between Gujarat Titans vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. Even after Virat Kohli's century in this match, RCB had to face defeat at the hands of Gujarat and the team failed to make it to the playoffs.

In the RCB vs Gujarat Titans match, where Virat Kohli scored a century for RCB, Shubman Gill scored a century for Gujarat. Saurabh Ganguly made a tweet after the brilliant century innings of both batsmen. He wrote in his tweet- "What a talent this country is producing, Shubman Gill Wow... Two brilliant innings in two innings. What a brilliant standard of this tournament."

After this tweet of Ganguly, many fans have given their reaction. Fans trolled Ganguly for not taking Virat's name on this tweet. After this, Ganguly gave a befitting reply to the fans' question in another tweet, saying- "This is a reminder, I hope whoever is distorting my tweet, understands English. If English is not understood If so, please take the help of someone else to understand it."

Actually, Ganguly had mentioned two halves in his old tweet. That is, he had praised both centuries in two different innings. Because of Shubman's youth, Ganguly took his name. In his second tweet, Ganguly advised him to study English properly for this reason. Ganguly and Kohli shook hands in the Delhi vs Bangalore second match after the no-handshake incident. This picture also went viral.

The dispute between Ganguly and Kohli came into the limelight after Kohli left the captaincy of Team India. However, in this also many people blamed Ganguly for being removed from the captaincy of Virat Kohli. Please tell that at present, neither Kohli is the captain of Team India nor Ganguly is the President of BCCI.

As far as the franchises of the two cricket giants are concerned, both RCB and Delhi could not reach the playoffs. RCB were hoping to make it to the playoffs till their last match but Gujarat failed to fulfill their wish as the team crashed out of the last-four race. At the same time, Delhi was in the ninth position in the points table.
