According to the information, till Friday, 10 percent of online booking has been registered for the match in Dharamshala, McLeodganj, which is a pleasant sign for the people associated with the tourism business including hoteliers.
This is expected to bring the hotel business back on track in the coming times. According to the hoteliers, due to the cancellation of the India-Australia match, people involved in the tourism business in Dharamshala suffered a loss of crores of rupees. Now hoteliers are expecting an increase in business due to IPL matches.
There is a period of recession in the tourist city of McLeodganj before the weekend. Only 30 percent of hotel bookings have been registered in the hotels of the tourist city on Friday. Mcleodganj sees a good footfall of tourists during the tourist season.
