Delhi Capitals will face Chennai Super Kings in the 67th match of IPL on Saturday (May 20) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. This could prove to be the last match of Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on this ground. This is the reason that the team of Chennai (CSK) will make every effort to give the gift of the playoffs to their captain with a win in any case. Anyway, this will be the last league match between Delhi and Chennai. If CSK wins this match then it will get a playoff ticket. Whereas, Delhi would like to bid farewell with respect. His effort will be that he does not have to remain at the last place in the points table.

It will be a do-or-die contest for Chennai. He would not want to take the risk of losing against Delhi. He has 15 points in 13 games. On getting defeated, he will have to get entangled in the equations. At the same time, if he wins, he will be in the playoffs. However, it will be known only after the match between Lucknow Supergiants and Kolkata Knight Riders to be held on Saturday evening whether Chennai will enter the playoffs by being second or third after winning. CSK's run rate is +0.381 which is better than Lucknow's +0.304. CSK is expected to get the benefit of Kotla's slow pitch.

The upper order of Dhoni's team is going well
Rituraj Gaikwad and Devon Conway have done well for CSK so far. Both the batsmen are in form and have been giving good starts to CSK. After the dismissal of these two, Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dubey are working to get CSK in a good position. Both Dubey and Rahane have done the work of scoring very fast runs so far. Chennai's concern is the batting of Ambati Rayudu, Moeen Ali, and Ravindra Jadeja. All three have not been able to perform with the bat so far as expected from them. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is hitting aggressively at the end.

Chennai hopes for the spin trio
Chennai has three good spinners in the form of Ravindra Jadeja, Mahish Teekshana, and Ravindra Jadeja. All three have impressed in the IPL so far. When Chennai plays against Delhi tomorrow, the role of all these three bowlers is going to be very important. In fast bowling, Mathisha Pathirana and Tushar Deshpande have also been doing justice to their roles.

Delhi batsmen did well in the last match
Delhi spoiled his game by defeating Punjab Kings by 15 runs in the last match. Delhi is currently in the ninth position. His effort will be to win this match and end his campaign with 12 points in the points table. In the last match, David Warner shared a 94-run opening partnership with Prithvi Shaw. After this, Riley Russo dashed Punjab's hopes with a strong inning of 82 not out. After being out of IPL, the effect of pressure removed from the Delhi team was visible in his game.

Eyes on Kuldeep-Akshar pair
The return of Enrich Nortje has made a difference for Delhi in bowling. Ishant Sharma is doing justice to his role. Khaleel Ahmed is also giving him good support. Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav are giving away fewer runs at the Kotla. If the pair of Patel and Kuldeep works, then there will be problems for Chennai on Saturday.

Possible playing-11 of both the teams
