The romantic chemistry of Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel created magic on the silver screen 22 years ago. The film 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai', released on 14 January 2000, proved to be a boon for Hrithik and Ameesha's film career, while the film proved to be a pride for the director Rakesh Roshan. For the film which made Ameesha popular overnight, Rakesh had earlier cast Kareena Kapoor for that role.

Awards showered on 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai'

Tales of all such actors and actresses are heard, who regretted leaving films. The film which was left out by Kareena Kapoor, when the film was released, was showered with awards. Hrithik Roshan got the Best Actor, Best Debut Actor award for his excellent performance in the film, while Rakesh Roshan, who has been working in the film industry for many years, also got the Filmfare Award as a producer-director. The most super-duper hit film of the year 2000 also made a tremendous amount.

Kareena left the film after shooting

Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai was a musical film in which Hrithik Roshan's dancing style as well as Amisha Patel's innocent performances won the hearts of the audience. While Rakesh made his son's debut in Bollywood with this film, his heartfelt wish was to take Hrithik's opposite Randhir Kapoor and Babita's daughter Kareena. And Rakesh did so too. According to media reports, some parts of the film were also shot but Kareena's mother Babita had a dispute with Rakesh Roshan and Kareena left the film.

Ameesha Patel's debut film 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai'

Then Rakesh Roshan started looking for a fresh girl. His search ended on Ameesha Patel. It was the debut film of both Hrithik and Ameesha. The innocent chemistry of these two made 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' a blockbuster. Although Hrithik is still active in films, Ameesha has not been seen for a long time.

The fantastic music of 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai'

The songs of the film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' became a huge hit. The film was decorated with music by Rakesh's brother Rajesh Roshan. Songs like 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai', 'Pyaar Ki Kashti Mein', 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena', 'Dilwalon Dil Mera Sunne Ko Bekarar Hai', 'Na Tum Jaane Na Hum' were choreographed by Farah Khan.
